Life is unpredictable. My mum just passed away on Monday. We went to visit her the day before and she was still happily chatting with us, reminding us to fetch her back once her leg recover. We received a call from KTPH on Monday morning, the nurse told us to reach KTPH immediately as my mum was sent to ICU. Few minutes later, another call received and was told that my mum collapsed. We were not very sure of what 'collapsed' meant and we flagged a cab to rush down immediately. By the time we reached, my mum has passed away in ICU. We couldn't believe what has happened as it was too sudden and the feelings were beyond words could explain.. We did not inform my dad, afraid that he couldn't accept it since he was alone at home. We informed our uncle and he went to our house to expose the news to my dad. After the tremendous incident, we calmed ourselves and accepted the truth. My uncle recommended a person specialised in funeral arrangements and he agreed to fully sponsor for the whole arrangements. We discussed and decided to simplify the funeral without any wake arranged as my dad was having difficulties in mobility. The funeral took few days and during Wednesday, we went to collect the ashes of my mum. Mum, have a safe journey and rest in peace. We will always miss you and love you..:'( |
